A day before election. lynnxe and I are going to drop our mail in ballots later on today. The city government is asking for "improvements in the infrastructure". I gave a mixed message on my ballot. I'll only give a couple of examples. 1H, funding symphony hall and the natural history museum. I was tempted to vote no, matching private funds are a nice perk but, private money should also be a nice perk for the health and human services ref. I voted yes on both, you dogs. A no vote to 1D. Street improvement planning should include proper code enforcement, like truck weight. This city has purchased a lot in facilities this past decade, and now here comes the upkeep. This means the responsibility of keeping all of these institutions alive. It is a good and just responsibility and one we should be proud of carrying out. I want to think that we could do this in a thoughtful and sensitive manner, for all to see and comment on. I hope.
